Sony Interactive Entertainment Europe has exchanged contracts to lease 65,000 sq ft at Echo Place in Liverpool.
Sony will take three floors of the building overlooking the Word Heritage waterfront. It will relocate around 500 staff to the offices in June next year, from their current base at Wavertree Technology Park.
Reach and Dubai-based Select Group are developing the former Liverpool Echo headquarters.
The project includes a 207-bedroom hotel, leased to Spain’s Meliá Hotels International Group for their INNSiDE brand, opening in spring 2020. It will also provide five new retail units, spanning 10,000 sq ft, two of which are currently under offer.
