The PRICOA-owned South Downs Partnership has begun legal proceedings to claim more than £500,000 in damages from the surveyor Edward Symmons & Partners
The proceedings, which were issued last Thursday, centre on four properties: Greenways Business Park in Chippenham, Challeymead Business Park in Melksham, Amelia House in Worthing and Holmbush Industrial Estate in Midhurst, which make up 19% of the £112m South Downs Portfolio.
A number of allegations were made against Symmons, including its failure to manage its partnership’s properties in an “orderly, diligent and businesslike manner”.
South Downs terminated its contract last June.
