Residents of Kingswood, Bristol are up in arms at proposals to build a new Somerfield supermarket and 250-space car park on their doorstep between Regent street and Cecil Road. Residents and local traders said the superstore would create road congestion and adversely effect local shops and businesses. South Gloucestershire planners are expected to consider the scheme next month.
