More than 50 of Southampton’s property players attended last month’s EG reception
Glorious weather, flowing drink and a lovely spread shed a warm glow on Estates Gazette‘s Southampton reception last month. With the sun shining, guests – and EG – made the most of the terrace at the Royal Southampton Yacht Club.
More than 50 of the area’s property professionals gathered, and any gloom about the market was left back at the office. There were smiles among Lambert Smith Hampton’s team as they picked up the EGi most active agents award, and the EGi dealmaker accolade went to LSH’s Robin Dickens.
Agents were keen to discuss the fate of Cumberland Commercial’s 157,000 sq ft office scheme, The Bond, in the city. The scheme had been announced only that week, and some wondered who might take space to kick-start development.
