The Focus autumn reception season began with our annual trip to Southampton Yacht Club. The weather didn’t quite suit beers on the balcony, but the sun did make an appearance.
Although the office market remains subdued, among the 50 or so guests there was plenty of chat about the investment and industrial markets, which are showing signs of picking up.
Lambert Smith Hampton was named winner of the EGi deals competition and received a big round of applause from its peers. Goadsby’s team took second place and Hughes Ellard was third.
Deal maker winner Andrew Farrer was unable to collect his certificate because he was busy at Bestival. We hear there are plenty of deals to be pursued and contacts to be made on the Isle of Wight.
