Southern Grove plans £80m Canada Water scheme

Developer Southern Grove has acquired a site for an £80m mixed-use development in Canada Water, SE16.

The Brooklyn will comprise 150 homes and 25,000 sq ft of offices in towers of up to 18 storeys, designed by architect Lifschutz Davidson Sandilands.

It is located at St Olav’s Court, next to the Rotherhithe Tunnel and fronting the A200 (Lower Road).

Southern Grove will lodge a planning application with Southwark Council and will seek a housing association to provide the affordable housing.

Chief executive Tom Slingsby said: “Canada Water is going to be put on the map in a bold new way by the extensive regeneration that is going to take hold over the next 15 years and our own scheme will complement that effort.”
