Flexible workspace provider Spacemade has signed a 10-year management agreement to operate a 15,000 sq ft office in the heart of Putney in southwest London.
The new site, set to open in 2023, is located at Dunward Properties’ Tileman House, 133 Upper Richmond Road, SW15.
The building features almost 70 flats plus commercial space on the ground and first floor levels. It will be the largest flexible workspace in Putney with capacity for 300 members and is less than 150 metres from Putney station.
The development will have Zoom rooms, phone booths, three outdoor terraces and a podcast studio to cater to increasing local demand for recording facilities.
Spacemade has more than 150,000 sq ft of flexible office space under operation across the UK. London sites include offices in London Fields, The Strand and Queen’s Park, with upcoming outlets in Wimbledon and Cricklewood.
Co-founder Jonny Rosenblatt said Putney is a market the company has “been looking at for some time” and that “the building represents an incredible opportunity to deliver the ultimate flexible workspace complete with all the facilities that small businesses and hybrid workers need to succeed”.
