Railtrack’s small business space arm Spacia will start work redeveloping 12 railway arches in Bermondsey next month.
The 33,000 sq ft (3,065 sq m) industrial workspace development, which will include nine free-standing units, will provide 21 business premises on the Rotherhithe New Road, SE16.
The development, which should be completed and ready for occupation by spring 2003, will add to Spacia’s portfolio of 9,200 properties, 4,000 of which are in London.
Spacia is redeveloping a total of 225,000 sq ft (21,000 sq m) of business space across the capital.
