The Daily Telegraph runs a special three-page report about investing in Merseyside. It includes news of plans for a 40ha (99-acre) supplier park next to Ford’s Halewood plant. The application goes before the local authority this week.
It also includes an idea by the Dean of Liverpool to attract a million tourists a year to the area. He wants to see a Discovery Hall, which would form part of a £90m Discovery Park development, linking the city centre with the Albert Dock.
