Speciality Shops is to buy the Pyramids shopping centre in Birkenhead, Merseyside from Wyndham Investments for £26.5m. The centre provides 13,285 sq m (143,000 sq ft). The company said its gross assets more than doubled to £110m in 1996. Net asset value per share rose to at least 145p from 134p.
