Spike Global tech to land in Croydon

Pocket Living has signed up to put the Spike Living portal into use at its latest housing development, Addiscombe Grove in Croydon (pictured).

Software provider Spike Global creates white-labelled versions of its Spike Living portal for each client’s particular building or development. It can be used in a wide range of ways, including reporting a fault or arranging for a parcel to be collected, as well as for booking the communal spaces such as a co-working desk or a fitness room.

Jeremy Heath-Smith, chief executive of Spike Global, said: “It can also do so much more. The forums and social groups enable people to meet like-minded new friends who live in their development. The portal is only open to genuine residents, so it’s a safer and more localised alternative to conventional social media.”

Pocket Living and Spike have previously partnered on housing developments across London, including the Varcoe Road development in Southwark, SE16, and Harbard Close in Barking. Data tracked more than 85% of residents downloading and using the app, with more than 6,000 visits to the portal each month.
