Sports Direct is in “advanced negotiaions” to dispose of freeholds at its Shirebrook head offices, in a deal worth £120m.
The retailer said it is selling five units – A, B, C, D and F – at Brook Park East to a company called Kwasa Logix Sportivo, which is understood to be an Asian buyer.
If the deal proceeds it will take a 15-year lease on the property, and will continue to operate it as a distribution centre, offices and retail.
Sports Direct plans to put the proceeds from the sale towards working capital for the company.
