There will be a fully independent review of Sports Direct’s corporate governance and working practices, the company said.
Reynolds Porter Chamberlain – the company’s legal advisors – conducted a preliminary review and had been due to follow it up with a new review. Shareholders attending the company’s AGM pushed strongly for an independent review, however.
