Welsh developer St David has submitted plans to Cardiff council for a £45m residential scheme on Churchill Way in the heart of the city’s commercial district.
The 23,225 sq m (250,000 sq ft) development will provide 273 luxury flats along with retail and leisure facilities.
Prices for apartments will range from £70,000 for a one-bedroom unit to over £300,000 for the scheme’s five penthouse suites.
If consent is granted, work is scheduled to start on site this summer, with full completion in 2002. The 2,786 sq m (30,000 sq ft) commercial element is due to open in Autumn 2001
