A subsidiary of Tony Pidgley’s Berkeley Group has unveiled plans for 1,465 homes at the Marks & Spencer White City site, W12.
St James has lodged Patel Taylor-designed proposals with Hammersmith & Fulham council for a host of new buildings, ranging from 10 to 28 storeys, at 54 Wood Lane.
The scheme would include 1,465 homes and 21,474 sq ft of commercial space, as well as a new public park. Up to 1,800 homes are envisage in the long term.
The application comes after St James agreed a £100m deal in July 2013 to buy the 10-acre industrial-led site from M&S.
A consultation on the plans will run to 9 November. Boyer Planning is advising.
