St Luke’s retired after £26m sale

Hanover Housing Association has bought a former hospital in Muswell Hill, N10, for a 200-home retirement village development.

It paid £26m to Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust for the six- acre St Luke’s, which has been vacant since 2009.

The NHS is working through plans to dispose of hospital sites that are surplus to requirements. The NHS estate comprises more than 300m sq ft and is estimated to have a value of around £40bn.

Knight Frank advised the NHS Trust; Hanover was represented by Savills.
