St Modwen has won planning permission for a 94,000 sq ft manufacturing building at its former MoD depot at Quedgley, Gloucester.
Stroud Council has given detailed planning for the building, which will be occupied by timber frame manufacturer Prestoplan.
This is the first phase of redevelopment of the 32-acre site at Junction 12 of M5, where St Modwen plan 530,000 sq ft of industrial and distribution buildings.
Rob Skelston of St Modwen, said: “This activity at the estate is generating further occupier interest in new industrial and distribution buildings.
“We are already in advanced discussions with an occupier for new 100,000 sq ft distribution unit, which we hope to conclude in the near future.”
