Key Property Investments, the joint venture between St Modwen Properties and Kuwait-based Salhia Real Estate, has submitted a planning application for a landmark development that it is hoped will spearhead the regeneration of Farnborough town centre.
The jv proposes a nine-screen multiplex cinema, a health and fitness club, and a restaurant. St Modwen said agreement had already been reached with a national cinema operator, while occupiers for the other facilities are being sought.
Simon Rutter, of Key Property Investments, said: “We hope to make a start on site later this year. The complex will provide a new focus to the southern end of Queensmead and generate within the town centre night-time leisure facilities not available at present.”
Green & Partners is the letting agent.
