St Modwen has submitted outline plans for the next phase of its Etruria Valley development in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire.
The proposals cover a 16-acre site to the west of Forge Lane, on which the developer plans a mix of offices, manufacturing and storage space.
St Modwen is looking for a prelet to kick-start development on the latest phase.
The Birmingham-based developer has submitted the application on behalf of Stoke-on-Trent Regeneration, the joint-venture company it runs with Stoke-on-Trent city council.
Etruria Valley formed part of the Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Local Enterprise Partnership’s failed bid for enterprise zone status earlier this year. The scheme comprises 1.4m sq ft of mixed-use space including offices, a retail park, leisure park, four-star hotel, restaurants and housing.
Mike Herbert, regional director for St Modwen, said: “Etruria Valley has proven itself to be a magnet for attracting inward investors and established local businesses and the latest phase will enable us to continue to drive new businesses and investment into the North Staffordshire region.”
