St Modwen has moved to a new head office building at its flagship £1bn regeneration project at Longbridge in Birmingham.
The regeneration specialist will occupy 11,300 sq ft at Park Point – a new-build office development, situated close to the newly created Longbridge town centre.
Coinciding with the office relocation, St Modwen has also made a series of internal promotions. At the end of November, John Dodds, who has worked for St Modwen for over 13 years, will retire as Midlands regional director. Stephen Prosser, currently Northern regional director, will take over from Dodds from 1 December.
Prosser’s move to the Midlands makes way for two further promotions in St Modwen’s Northern region, which will be split into two offices. The Yorkshire & North East region will be headed up by Richard Bannister as regional manager and the North West region by Steven Knowles as regional director.
Commenting on the head office move, Bill Oliver, chief executive at St Modwen, said: “Longbridge is a natural head office location for St Modwen and we look forward to forming an integral part of this important scheme, together with the Midlands regional team and our St Modwen Homes business.”
He added: “During his time at St Modwen John has made a huge contribution to the business, heading up many of our large regeneration projects such as Longbridge where we are shortly to start on site with a 150,000 sq ft Marks & Spencer store which will anchor the second phase of the new Longbridge town centre. We wish him well for the future.”
Prosser has worked at St Modwen for more than17 years and is one of the firm’s most experienced directors.
