St Modwen has submitted an outline planning application for a £100m mixed-use regeneration project in Wolverton near Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire.
Proposals for the 40-acre former railway works site include 300,000 sq ft of industrial buildings, a discount supermarket, 375 homes and a heritage centre.
The plans are due to be determined by Milton Keynes council before the end of the year.
Gary Morris, St Modwen’s senior development manager for the northern Home Counties, said: “Our plans for Wolverton Works will regenerate this brownfield site to provide new, modern employment buildings as well as meeting demand for new homes in Milton Keynes.”
GL Hearn is acting for St Modwen on planning.
