St Modwen plans Stoke scheme

Regeneration specialist St Modwen has unveiled plans to turn a former Stoke-on-Trent manufacturing facility into a £20m residential scheme.

It wants to build around 110 family homes on the 11.25-acre site, plus ancillary shops and restaurants.

The site was formerly a manufacturing plant used by Dyson Industries which became surplus to requirement following a restructuring of the business some years ago.

The plans go out to public consultation this month, with an application expected to be submitted in early November.
