St Modwen’s plans for new Vue cinema and restaurant development at the Meads in Farnborough, have been approved.
The scheme totalling 35,000 sq ft will sit on the Meads, which is owned by Key Property Investments, a joint venture between St Modwen and Salhia Real Estate.
James Stockdale, development surveyor at St Modwen, said: “This positive decision [by Rushmoor borough council] is a significant step forward in our ongoing plans for the regeneration of Farnborough.”
The firm expects to start work on the new development later this year, ready to open in late 2013.
