St Paul’s Developments has gained planning consent for an additional 34,500 sq ft of retail space at its 200 acre mixed use Cortonwood business park in Rotherham.
The consent, granted by Rotherham council, will allow the South Yorkshire-based developer to add six more units of between 2,500 sq ft and 30,000 sq ft with the option of 75%-cover mezzanine floors plus 160 car parking spaces.
The park already has 256,000 sq ft of retail space and around 250,000 sq ft of offices on the regenerated former Cortonwood colliery site.
Existing retail occupiers on the park include Next, Boots, Matalan, Argos and a 20,000 sq ft Asda Living Store.
