St Paul’s Developments has sold nearly 30,000 sq ft of office space at its Sheffield 35a business park.
South Yorkshire Police has taken 20,000 sq ft in a purpose built 3-story office building which will house support services relocated from a number of smaller sites when the unit is completed in autumn this year.
Also, Transaction Network Services UK is taking two units of 4,250 sq ft at the park.
Sheffield 35A has 210,000 sq ft of offices on 15.5 acres.
The project, which was built on brownfield land and attracted financial assistance under European Objective One funding, has occupiers including Bright Finance, Longcross Engineering and British Glass.
David Newton, a director of St Paul’s Developments, said, “These two latest deals demonstrate how 35a can fill an important niche in the Sheffield/M1 corridor market.
The economy locally is moving towards knowledge-based businesses and we are filling the need for a high quality out-of-city environment for these organisations.”
Letting agents are Knight Frank and Hill Woolhouse.
