Stanhope and Schroders are preparing a detailed planning application for the first phase of the £500m Ruskin Square scheme in Croydon.
Plans will be lodged by the end of the year for the first phase of the scheme which will comprise 150,000 sq ft of offices to be developed on a speculative basis.
Outline planning consent was secured in July 2011 for a Fosters & Partners masterplanned 2m sq ft development on nine acres adjacent to East Croydon Station.
The scheme comprises 1m sq ft of offices and 550 homes.
