Hotel developer and operator Starboard Hotels is about to embark on a £50m development programme.
The first property to be developed by the group is a £7m Holiday Inn Express in Burnley.
Starboard managing director Paul Callingham said: “Burnley is the start of a series of mid-price hotels currently in the pipeline, with hotels in Yorkshire, the North East and West Midlands to follow.”
The 102-bedroom Burnley hotel will open in September.
