Starter’s orders for JLL Property Triathlon

It’s that time of year again, when you are still feeling the effects of a bountiful festive period but rightfully virtuous after a dry January, when you think a sporting challenge may well be in order. But one that you can do as work. For networking.

Tomorrow (5 February) the 13th annual JLL Property Triathlon opens for entry. Taking place, as usual, at Dorney Lake in Berkshire, this one-day sporting extravaganza attracts thousands from the industry – including a healthy number from EG.

Whether you’re an amateur, seasoned pro or just like dressing up in silly outfits, there is a race for everyone.

This year, the triathlon will be again be supporting homeless charity Crisis.

JLL UK chief executive and long-time competitor Chris Ireland said the event has now raised more than £2m for charity during its lifetime.

He added: “The event, which comprises individual and relay sprint triathlon, duathlon, swim and fancy-dress categories, attracts all levels of entrants, from complete novices to more seasoned participants. It is always a great day for competitors, spectators and the property industry as a whole and I would encourage anyone thinking of taking part to join us.”

To secure your spot and help raise vital funds for Crisis visit www.propertytriathlon.com. Registration opens at midday.
