FINANCE: Almacantar has secured an extended loan from Starwood to finance the refurbishment of the iconic Centre Point, WC1, tower.
A series of Starwood funds including the listed Starwood European Real Estate Finance have supplemented their existing loan to Almacantar with an additional £45m facility, taking the total loan to £265m.
Mike Hussey’s Almacantar is planning to convert the 34-storey tower at 103 New Oxford Street from offices to luxury flats.
