Statoil’s Aberdeen HQ for sale for £18.5m

Drum Property Group is selling the new headquarters of Norwegian multinational oil and gas company Statoil in Kingswells, Aberdeen.

It has instructed JLL to market the 60,000 sq ft office with an asking price of £18.5m – a 6.25% yield.

Statoil’s new operations centre and head office at Drum Property Group’s Prime Four business park was built to Statoil’s specifications and was completed in May last year.

The £500m business park comprises 1.5m sq ft of office space and is home to energy industry companies including Premier Oil, OneSubsea, Nexen, Apache and Transocean.

Drum is investing around £100m in a retail extension to the business park which would include around 320,000 sq ft of space.
