Staybrook hires head of office occupier strategy

Staybrook Capital, the operating platform for real estate investment set up earlier this month by former CBRE, Patrizia and M7 Real Estate executives, has hired its first non-founder employees.

Ashley Hancox (above right) joins as head of office occupier strategy. He spent more than 15 years at CBRE, including a decade as national head of office agency for the UK regions. At Staybrook he will focus on work in London, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh and Leeds as well as the Thames Valley.

Henry Fisher (above left) joins as an investment analyst, with five years of real estate lending experience.

Staybrook was set up by former CBRE managing director of UK regions Adrian McStay, Patrizia head of logistics and alternatives Rob Brook, and M7 Real Estate chief operating officer Teresa Dyer.

The firm will focus on UK and Western European logistics as well as special situations such as UK offices, which it believes are now oversold.
