STC have lodged a planning application for almost 400,000 sq ft of B1 space and 300 homes on 33 acres at New Southgate in the London Borough of Barnet. If the application is successful STC intend to sell the 33-acre site, which is bounded by Brunswick Park Road and Oakley Road South.
Martin Cavalier of development and planning consultants Lawson-Price, who are advising STC, said: “We would hope to obtain as much as over £30m for the land.”
The New Southgate land houses the headquarters of the large telecommunications business, and the site has been in STC’s ownership since 1922.
