Westfield co-chief executive Steven Lowy plays coy about the future of the stalled Bradford project in a Sunday Times interview.
He says the West Yorkshire shopping centre is still on the agenda but when asked to confirm that he is not selling it, replies: “ I didn’t say that. We may sell it, but it will play out in a way that pleases the people of Bradford”. A planning application for a shopping centre in Croydon is expected this month before Westfield starts rolling out lessons learnt in London into mainland Europe.
