Stewart Smith to stand down from CBRE

Stewart Smith will retire from CBRE at the end of the year.

A veteran of the London office market, Smith has worked at CBRE for more than 35 years delivering brokerage and strategic advice to clients and the business. In 2005, he scored an industry first, creating CBRE’s Tenant Advisory Group. In 2018, he established and then led its UK flex business.

Smith has also advised a huge number of key occupier and investor clients, including the Cadogan Estate, London Borough of Camden and the FCA at Stratford.

CBRE Advisory’s London managing director Richard Smart said: “Stewart has been an incredible colleague, mentor and friend to many within CBRE. His leadership within the London business has materially helped to shape the team we have today, and we thank him for such a tremendous contribution.

Smith said: “It has been a great experience, I have been privileged to work with great clients and outstanding teams within CBRE, and I leave behind many friends at CBRE and in the wider industry.”
