Stiles Harold Williams (SHW) is looking to dominate the niche leasehold reform market after merging with taking on the leading player in the sector.
SHW has merged with Leasehold Enfranchisement, which specialises in valuations and negotiations for lease extensions and collective enfranchisement throughout central London.
SHW managing director David Hadden said: “Tim is recognised as one of the leading figures in the market.
Not only is there considerable potential for us to expand further into this specialist market, but buying the freeholds of blocks of flats which we might then manage on behalf of the new owners is an added bonus.”
He added that SHW, which has 11 offices in London, the Thames Valley and throughout the South East, is anticipating increased demand for lease extensions and collective enfranchisement in the next year with enactment of the Commonhold & Leasehold Reform Bill.
