US Hospitality giant The ONE Group has chosen Standard Life Investments’ and Peveril Securities’ South St Andrew Square scheme in Edinburgh for its first European STK Rebel restaurant.
The new location marks The ONE Group’s first STK Rebel location outside North America, and the first standalone restaurant in the UK and Europe.
STK Rebel Edinburgh will open in the 165,000 sq ft mixed-use development.
It joins other bar and restaurant tenants Drake & Morgan and Thai casual dining brand Busaba Eathai, which have also chosen the scheme for their first UK locations.
Jonathan Segal, The ONE Group’s chief executive, said: “This cosmopolitan city suits the nature of our brand with its energy, vibrancy, style and approachability. We plan to continue to expand this concept and foresee opening 100 locations globally.”
