Stobart Group has secured planning permission for a £24m chilled and frozen distribution centre in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire.
The 278,000 sq ft hub at Gateway Park, just off junction 27, will be a joint development with Warwickshire-based Roxhill Developments.
Construction will commence before the end of the year, with completion expected in autumn 2012.
The project is the latest in a string of plans by Stobart’s property arm Stobart Estates. It has recently submitted proposals for three distribution centres at the site known as 3MG in Widnes, Cheshire.
