The remaining available offices at Colmore Gate, the 120,000 sq ft (11,148 sq m) landmark scheme in central Birmingham, is thought to be under offer to stockbroker Albert E. Sharp.
The stockbroker is understood to have put 1,672 sq m (18,000 sq ft) under offer in the building.
AES’s operations in Birmingham have expanded rapidly. Three years ago it took some 3,716 sq m (40,000 sq ft) in Temple Court on Bull Street. AES has already exercised an option on further expansion space there and currently occupies the 5th and 6th floors.
Royal Sun Alliance is sub-letting the remaining space in Colmore Gate. DTZ Debenham Thorpe is advising Royal Sun.
