Stockport Trading Estate up for grabs

Stockport Trading Estate in Greater Manchester is on the market for £20.7m.

CBRE has been appointed to sell the prime multi-let trade park, which has 135,000 sq ft of warehouse space and is located next to the M60 motorway.

Existing occupiers include fire products manufacturer Tyco and wholesaler Booker and Morris & Son. Average rent is £7.55 per sq ft, resulting in net initial yield of 5.75%.

The estate, owned by clients of CBRE Investors, is located within five minutes’ drive of Stockport town centre, which is benefiting from a £1bn regeneration. Part of the investment was used to turnaround the neighbouring Aurora Stockport, which was once a derelict 18-acre site, into a 145,000 sq ft business park.

The masterplan also includes the £500m Town Centre West scheme, £250m Stockport 8 project and £60m Weir Mill site.
