Furniture store Stocktons is looking for offers in excess of £20m for its 50,000 sq ft showroom on Great Ancoats Street in Manchester.
The 0.9-acre site in the Piccadilly East area close to the Northern Quarter, is being marketed by McLoone Property and Ken Bishop Consulting.
The site does not have planning permission, but is being marketed as a “prime site to meet demand” from both the office and residential sector.
Stocktons sits within Manchester City Council’s regeneration masterplan for the area of the city north of Piccadilly station to Great Ancoats Street.
The council-owned Central Retail Park opposite the site is being redeveloped into a 1.5m sq ft office-led development.
