Stoford to submit office plans for Ludlow Eco Park

Stoford is to submit plans for the development of 24,000 sq ft of offices at Ludlow Eco Business Park in Shropshire.

Advantage West Midlands (AWM) and South Shropshire district council are in “advanced negotiations” with the developer. The site is part of the rural regeneration zone” (RRZ) covering large parts of Herefordshire and Shropshire.

It will receive a total grant of £3.6m. The council hopes that it will attract a “new type of employer”.

Peter Pawsey, chair of the RRZ, said: “Without public sector intervention, this project and others like it would not be viable, so I am particularly pleased that we have been able to bring this important development forward.

Stoford director Tony Nash added: “We are working closely with AWM, South Shropshire district council and local and regional occupiers to produce an exciting office development that will set new standards of environmental buildings.”
