Former Candy & Candy director Simon Stone has made his first purchase since founding his own property company in April.
Stone Real Estate has paid around £20m for a 40,000 sq ft Riverview House in Hammersmith, W6.
Before working for the Candys he was head of Savills’ London mixed-use development team.
The firm wants to deliver a £40m office refurbishment for completion in spring 2016.
Stone said: “This off-market acquisition represents a wonderful opportunity to redesign and improve an existing building to meet the aspirations of modern occupiers. The building has huge prominence to the A4, great access to transport, and is moments from one of the best stretches of the River Thames in London.”
The vendor was a private European investor. Boston Gilmore advised Stone Real Estate.
