Stonegate Pub has made a conditional, £100m offer to acquire cocktail bar operator Revolution Bars.
The offer price matches Revolution’s valuation at the time of its listing in 2015, but its share price fell when it warned of higher than expected costs in May and said operating profit was likely to be flat.
Talks between the two parties are continuing and Stonegate is carrying out due diligence.
