Stoneweg has acquired a 516,600 sq ft logistics centre in Solothurn, northern Switzerland, from Meier Tobler Group.
The three-storey logistics centre was formerly a distribution centre for the Swiss postal service and has been fully let by Meier Tobler until 2023, after which Stoneweg will refurbish and relet it.
Diana Oblak, head of Swiss investments at Stoneweg, said: “The logistics sector remains highly attractive, having been largely sheltered from the challenges other sectors have faced during the Covid-19 pandemic, with demand for real estate that synergises with the digital economy continuing to thrive.”
