Access Self Storage, which has 157,930m2 (1.7m sq ft) of storage space across Europe, is looking for more sites in the UK.

Formed by the merger of Acorn, Abacus, Abristock and Access self-storage, the firm is on the hunt for sites within the M25 and near the UK’s larger cities and has £50m to spend over the next 12 months.

Chief executive William Palmer said: “We have acquired nine properties in the first six months of 1999 and we hope to double that figure this year.”
