Developer Strawberry Star has appointed three industry heavyweights to help it deliver 2,000 homes by 2025.
Yash Dave joins as chief operating officer. He has two decades of experience in finance and operations and was most recently group chief financial officer of Henley Homes.
Strawberry Star has enlisted Mark Parker, Redrow’s former regional chief executive and the former managing director of Telford Homes, as a senior adviser. Steve Walker, former chief executive of L&Q low-cost housing subsidiary Tower Homes, has also been appointed senior adviser.
Steven Beveridge, chief executive of Strawberry Star, said: “The added expertise that these appointments bring is exactly what Strawberry Star needs to reach its next step after a challenging year for the housebuilding industry.
“Mark and Steve’s extensive experience and past successes will help us in our mission to rebalance the undersupply of housing in the South East, while Yash’s operational understanding will ensure we continue to nurture the business as an end-to-end developer.”
Strawberry Star was established in 2007. The developer has 2,000 homes already planned and in construction, including landmark schemes Lu2on and Harlow Quarter.
