Streamline gets Bristol site at second attempt

ICI has signed its third major tenant at Western Approach, Bristol, after Streamline agreed to locate a distribution warehouse on the 55ha (136 acre) site.

Streamline has taken 6ha (15 acres) for a 17,651m2 (190,000 sq ft) warehouse.

Just a year ago Streamline had agreed to buy a similar site at Filton in north Bristol, but failed to get consent.

ICI is also nearing agreement with MFI for a 5,574m2 (60,000 sq ft) facility. Last year it signed up Great Mills and Matthew Clark. King Sturge is acting for ICI.

Elsewhere in Bristol, London & Manchester has forward-funded the first speculative industrial scheme in several years at Abbeywood Park, Filton, in a joint venture with developer Bristol & England. Chesterton and Alder King are the agents.
