Adviser and auction house Strettons has appointed Malcolm Nicholls as its new non-executive director and chair.
Nicholls brings some 35 years of experience to the agency at firms including Nokia, where he led more than 25 business-critical strategic growth and transformation programmes and chaired the transformation project selection committee.
Nicholls said that as chair he would be looking to identify markets and strategies that will increase the firm’s revenues.
“Strettons is consistently among the most active agents within its core markets and has responded well to the changing market conditions, providing an excellent service to its clients,” he said. “This, along with the ambition and vision of the board of directors presents an excellent opportunity for the future growth of the business.”
Simon Tilsiter, managing director at Strettons, added: “Malcolm has an excellent track record of furthering the growth of companies in competitive markets and his ambitions for the future of Strettons match those of the board of directors. I am sure that he will play a key role in the growth of all departments and the future success of Strettons.”
