Ian Stringer has been appointed as chairman of Bilfinger GVA’s advisory board.
Stringer, who has spent more than 30 years at GVA, will take over from Stephen Brown for a three-year term.
He is currently a senior director in the company’s Midlands office has previously held roles including national head of offices and chairman.
Rob Bould, chief executive of Bilfinger GVA, said: “Ian’s first-class ability to lead in numerous guises make him the ideal candidate to this key role.”
Stringer said the agency’s priorities would include strengthening the London transactional and capital markets teams, corporate consultancy, and building a leading European advisory-led real estate business.
