Student accommodation specialist GSA has appointed Struan Robertson as global head of investment management.
Robertson will also join the board and becomes chairman of GSA’s investment committee.
GSA’s investment management business has $1.5bn (£1.2bn) funds under management. Robertson will be responsible for setting the overall direction of the group’s investment strategy.
He joins GSA from US REIT and hotel owner Host Hotels & Resorts, where he was executive vice-president and chief investment officer.
